As of 08/14/2015 NIC DO has implemented a new procedure for online payments. In order to improve security when making payments to Internet domains, the following measures have been taken:
- To make payments online you will need to have a user account in NIC DO. This account will be created using the email accounts of the domain contact. The accounts will be created automatically at the time of registration and for existing domains, accounts will be created from registered emails.
- Contacts will only be able to make online payments to the domain names associated with your account.
The procedure to follow is that when choosing the option of Online Payments in www.nic.do you will be asked to log in with your user account. The first time you log in you will exhaust a password assignment process and then continue with the domain(s) to be paid.
