Register and Manage Domains
The Domain Name Registry under the .do ccTLD is administered by the Network Information Center .do (NIC .DO) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, a function delegated in 1995 by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), currently operated By ICANN.
You can register your domain through any of the resellers accredited by NIC .DO. Do do so, you must access the website a reseller where you will be guided throughout the registration process.
You can also register your domain directly with NIC .DO, for this you must go to WWW.MIDOMINIO.DO, the platform used by NIC .DO for the commercialization of domains. There you can create your user account and follow the instructions to register your domain.
In any case, before registering a domain name it is important that you:
- Verify that the name you want to register is available.
- Know the Policies and Procedures that govern the registration of domain names under the .do, Policies, Procedures, Terms and Conditions of the selected Registrar or Reseller.
- Make sure you do not violate the rights of third parties.
